What Really Happened in Mexico. A Journal from 1975. FRIDAY, AUGUST 22. April 3, 2012. Was that all real? Did I dream all of that? The whole trip is just about as real as last night’s dream: it’s a memory; although I do have some tangible proof that I was in Mexico, some coins, gum wrappers, a 7-Up bottle that says ‘hecho in Mexico.’ I have a million memories that will stay with me always, though I suspect some may fade in 60 or 70 years. We loved the colours, the wackiness, the logo, the laughs and the struggles we went through to get it up and running and to maintain it for all this time. It was a roller-coaster of a ride!
