Montessori for Mandarin Chinese: Peter Rabbit in Mandarin Chinese and English in iTunes
http://montessorichinese.blogspot.com/2011/09/peter-rabbit-in-mandarin-chinese-and.html
Montessori for Mandarin Chinese. Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Peter Rabbit in Mandarin Chinese and English in iTunes. As much as I hate to provide free product promotion for iTunes, I have to say that I love the bilingual Peter Rabbit in Mandarin Chinese and English. It has audio, pinyin (in the mouseover with characters), and simplified or traditional characters that you can choose. I bought this as a gift for an adult, so it's pretty funny to hear him saying "flopsy, mopsy." in Chinese!

Grin MaMa BLueS: Cuti-cuti Sabah: Manukan Island
http://grinmamablues.blogspot.com/2009/08/cuti-cuti-sabah-manukan-island.html
Saturday, August 22, 2009. Cuti-cuti Sabah: Manukan Island. To Manukan. another boat ride for the kids, by now they are so use it already! Not so-clear blue sea. Life as a kite". At the jetty, looking at a Merman! Very dissapointing - the beach was disgustingly dirty! It was so disturbing to see plastics drifted to the shore and the workers whom were responsible to clean the beach didnt even bother to pick the rubbish out from the water! But he chose seaweed instead. haha. Marked by Joan D'Arcy. Places -...

Montessori for Mandarin Chinese: April 2011

Montessori for Mandarin Chinese. Thursday, April 7, 2011. Cute Kid Singing Video. I know, he's Korean, but I love his rendition of the English language Beatles song here! We posted songs in Chinese on our site PoppingPandas.com. Free to listen or download). Sing them with your child! I think this little boy learned the song from a non-native English speaker. Bet his pronunciation would be near perfect otherwise. Still, quite impressive. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe in a reader.

Montessori for Mandarin Chinese: July 2010

Montessori for Mandarin Chinese. Friday, July 30, 2010. Draw a Character to Find the Meaning and Hear the Pronunciation. For those of you who haven't used nciku. It is my favorite of all the online dictionaries because you can draw in characters that you don't know instead of laboriously looking them up. Well, you'll see, but the drawing feature is fabulous. Some of the dictionary functions aren't as good, but, hey, not having to look up the characters is wonderful! Share it with us! Links to this post.

Montessori for Mandarin Chinese: Chinese Character Practice: Typing in Chinese
http://montessorichinese.blogspot.com/2011/10/chinese-character-practice-typing-in.html
Montessori for Mandarin Chinese. Monday, October 3, 2011. Chinese Character Practice: Typing in Chinese. From time to time, we suggest this, but it's so useful that I am posting it again. If you want your child to learn Chinese characters, let him or her type them! Sure, writing them by hand is lovely, but typing them allows a different type of memorization. Plus it is faster, so you can run through them more quickly and actually get somewhere in terms of writing things. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
