Traveling the North Cascades Hwy. August 1, 2015. For the past few weeks Eric and I have been discussing going out on a day trip up through the North Cascades Hwy. He has been on the highway on his motorcycle a few times and thought we’d love to see it for ourselves. We got up early and got on our way by 9 am The road trip was hard on Em who gets super car sick. She was a trouper but we still felt bad that the winding roads made her feel bad. July 31, 2015. Hope you all had a good last week of July. Hard to believe it has come to an end already. Our week started off a tad bit cooler which we all liked but by today it was back to being sweltering. Feeling like one is melting is miserable. Living in the bedroom where the only AC unit is located is miserable. Sleeping with fans on only makes one’s nose stuffed up. Or maybe that’s just me? Welcome to our family blog.
