My Pursuit of Balance. As a mother of 6 boys from 16 to 2 years old I spend most of my days (and nights) searching for balance. Balance between being a mother, a wife, a friend, a designer and myself. Friday, April 30, 2010. What a roller coaster ride! But maybe that's the point? Maybe life is supposed to be scary and unsteady? Maybe we aren't supposed to know what's over the hill or around the loop? I am determined to be happy. To stand up for the things I believe in. To love and be loved.

Balance between being a mother, a wife, a friend, a designer and myself. Monday, May 3, 2010. Dragged back to bed. My youngest son crawled into bed with me this morning. He told me loved me and I was beautiful. A nice start to my day! He did not want me to get out of bed and each time I tried he begged me to stay and cuddle. He wrapped his arms around my neck and held on.
