Saturday, June 25, 2011. Who knew that going to the Southern Caribbean would be so spectacular? Well I think we all kinda think that, and let me tell you that all my expectations were met and were even better that what we could have hoped for. Every time we reached a new location, I thought to myself 'this is the most beautiful place my eyes have ever seen.' It happened time after time. However, after much contemplation, I decided St. Maarten was my favorite. Sorry the clouds are covering the tops).

There must be something wrong with me because I usually really like that day, and don't even really think of feeling guilty for all my own short comings as a mother. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Camping in CO Springs. I'm still plugging away on my masters (taking four. And a big trip is just not going to happen this year. So get ready for lots of posts about camping! Camping is the best because you can escape from your busy life, it's a cheap vacation, and it's easy. I saw these cute paintings in a catalog, but they were $40 a piece! So I grabbed my trusty toll paints and bought some cheap canvases, and Wa- la! Now Simon has something to hang on his wall! Just him and me! Thursday, December 1, 2011. Today is the Day. I want to talk about Ellen today. She is the first of our family of six girls. She has been the best role model for all of us.
