Monday, April 18, 2011. We had a lot of good memories with Lone Star. Dates, road trips, racing to the hospital to deliver babies. We even hit a deer once, with minimal damage. He will be missed. Friday, February 26, 2010. Bob had a conference in Oregon, so we decided to tag along. I know Bob really misses us when I has business trips, so we really came for him. Friday, August 3, 2012. Opus 520 - NICU Reunion. The kids thoroughly enjoyed this year's NICU Reunion. They both tried out the big inflatable slide this year. Lissa wasn't a fan:. It was so cute and the girls were quite proud of themselves for learning all the difficult secrets of the recorder. they wowed us with some pretty sweet music, both instrumental and vocal, and just looked dang cute up there on that giant stage. a great night of free entertainment. Autumn, emma, lucy and shane. We went to the zoo with our friends, the maas's, yesterday and it poured the entire time we were there! It was hilarious.we spent lots of time looking at animals inside like spiders (and let me tell you, the dallas zoo has some creepy, southern spiders on display), naked mole rats and snakes. when we decided to run for the car in a rare moment of dryness, we couldn't resist the giant puddle in the practically vacant zoo parking lot! Monday, August 27, 2012. First day of 4th Grade! First day of 4th Grade! Are you kidding me? I'm still a cryer. I think I was the only mom in the 4th grade line that had tears. Summer went toooooo fast. But we did have fun! I'll hopefully do more on that later, but wow! Now I have to talk about a beautiful 4th grader.
