February 23, 2013. Scullins come see us! We were so grateful to the Scullins who made the drive up from Southern Cali to see us. They are work-oholics so could only come for a day and a half….,but it was really great to see them anyway and we tried to make the best of our one full Saturday with them! We were exhausted as the adrenalin was wearing off after a week on the time change from Europe, and we had colds that were keeping us up in the night, so we were pooped out. We all still got it going on!

November 15, 2013. Such a gorgeous time of year in Germany. As we drove to Amsterdam area, we passed numerous fields, trees and villages, in all their fall splendor. I couldn’t help but pull over for some shots of the above village! After a day at Duinrell, we headed into downtown Amsterdam for some sightseeing. First stop was the Vincent Van Gogh Art Museum which we had tickets and an entrance time for. Which was fortuitous timing since it started raining as we walked up. More bikes…….

Watched a massive lightning storm all across the sky on the drive home. Bracing for a 180 mile long storm system with 80 mph winds, expected to hit in about two hours. We may not get much sleep…. While cleaning the main floor bathroom I notice that the mirror had lost part of it’s mirror-i-ness due to cleaning for the last 20 years. Friday, January 22, 2010. I wanted to take some nice pictures of my boys today. As usual, it was a pretty frustrating experience and I thought I didn't get any "good" ones. I was wrong- pretty cute, huh? What a cute picture. I just had a thought that James looks more like the Pinegar side, do you think so? I think it is the blond hair that made me think so. You always take really nice pictures. I wish I had your skills. Your family is so cute. Oh My Goodness. Youre kids are soooo cute! SO, SO CUTE!
