I go through phases of pure excitement and anxious for the moment this newbie will pop out to phases of pure dread and nervous about the sleepless nights and clueless parent moments trying to figure out what's wrong with newbie when he cries. Whatever feelings I'm going through, this third is coming and he's coming quick! Maid and cook and soccer mom for life it is! It should be a breeze, right?

My bickerings and banterings. Thursday, August 20, 2009. One thing as a mother that you have to learn to overcome is the feelings you go through when your kids get hurt, and I mean little accidents. They're going to fall, bump, get scraped and cut, among other things. Word of advice, just give your kids the tupperware to play with and they'll be occupied for longer than the pricey stuff - forget toys! P is in his time out corner bawling from us yelling at him, "Why did you do that? You KNOW not to bite!

My bickerings and banterings. Thursday, January 31, 2008. Another year of weightloss! I was at my ideal weight early college. I was a healthy size 2-4. Then, I gained the freshman 15, and then the sophomore/junior/senior 15! Needless to say, I gained some of it back (in part due a little someone), but I'm almost back at my goal weight. My bickerings and banterings. Tuesday, July 8, 2014. While the boys are in the bathtub in our bathroom, I remove my make-up at the vanity next to them. I see they're ready to get out so I grab their towels to dry them up. R: You look different, Mommy. Me: Because I took off my make-up? R: Yeah, you look better with the make-up. Me: {laughs} You should never say that to a girl, ok? And besides, make-up is for fun. It hides true beauty. R: Then why do girls wear it? P: Putting on make-up is fun?
