Luckily the blueberries were out early this year since it has been so hot. So we picked blueberries on our walk. Lemonade and Popovers at Jordan Pond with butter and strawberry jam one afternoon. Sunday, May 16, 2010. Puck Buddies @ Dexters. A bunch of us from my ice hockey team are playing in a spring league. We have named ourselves Puck Buddies, and are having a great time playing. We won our second game last Monday, we are now 2-2. And it was our goalie, Kat's, last game with us before she heads to Alaska for the summer. So we decided to celebrate and went to Dexter's. Friday, April 23, 2010. Apparently I don't eat as many nachos as I had thought. So I am branching out to other foods. Mainly things I make. It's my blog, I do what I want! Last night I made kebabs on the grill. I had a hankering :) I have found that the meat cooks slower than the veggies, so I make them on separate skewers so that I can control how they cook. I might have made a little too much for just me, but I do love leftovers! I love this time of year because grilled foods taste so much better!

Friday, March 12, 2010. I have been neglecting my blog! Last Saturday after our hockey game. It is right around the corner from the Penn rink, so it is quite convenient. They were pretty busy, and the service wasn't stellar. They are usually much better, but I guess the onslaught of hockey girls and our fans, mixed with the leftover Erin Express, green-clad college kids, they had a lot on their plate. Friday, June 25, 2010. So, I guess I suck at this blogging thing. I haven't been very consistent in my postings. And my friends who said they would love to help blog, aren't (hint, hint). I have been cooking a lot recently, so I'll start posting more food that I make. I really haven't been going out to eat much recently, and when I do, not to places that offer nachos. My friends will be eating well this summer! Addition: Here is an updated photo of my garden. It is growing so quickly in this heat!
