Cooking, cleaning, and kids!

Cooking, cleaning, and kids! Thursday, September 8, 2011. So, a little backstory. I love the show Masterchef. I watched every episode of the first season, and really rooted for Whitney Miller. She was southern, polite, and cute as a button! I was THRILLED when she was crowned the first "American Masterchef", and got really excited when I saw (while watching Season 2 of Masterchef actually) that she had her own cookbook. So, last week.I ordered one! Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Tuesday, June 28, 2011.

Cooking, cleaning, and kids!: June 2011

http://www.nadreaucrew.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Cooking, cleaning, and kids! Tuesday, June 28, 2011. I have failed the past few days, I know.I have no excuses other than "Uhhhhhhhhhh". Anyways, I have to brag just a teensy tiny bit. I successfully cooked VENISON last night! That's right, one of the driest, gamiest meat ever (at least when I've cooked it in the past), and I succeeded. I based it on This. Monday, June 20, 2011. How was your Father's Day? While the Grill was heating up though, Tim and I got this huge craving for roasted marshmallows!

I find that each dinner always has a vegetable, and often a fruit side dish (yes.it's taken 6 years for that to be a regular thing for us.don't judge me! Yes, I love that I am growing up. Cooking, cleaning, and kids! Monday, June 20, 2011. How was your Father's Day? While the Grill was heating up though, Tim and I got this huge craving for roasted marshmallows! So I ran out and got some before supper. I didn't get any pictures of the main courses yesterday (I know, fail right? I did get a few of the marshmallow fun! The girls had so much fun roasting their marshmallows over the hot coals (with adult supervision of course! Tim's 3 biggest fans! June 20, 2011 at 6:02 PM. The past 24 hours.

The Becker Family: 2014 Family Pictures

http://thebeckerfam.blogspot.com/2014/10/2014-family-pictures.html

Tuesday, October 28, 2014. We finally got around to the "family pictures in the fall leaves"! We've never managed to be on top of things enough, but this year we managed to get it done. And YAY. This may be how we do it from here on out. My friend Naomi of Anselm Photography was our photographer and we are thrilled with her work. Here are some of my favorites! So gorgeous that it really is just almost unfair. :). November 15, 2014 at 2:59 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The End of an Era.

The Becker Family: Life.

http://thebeckerfam.blogspot.com/2014/07/life.html

Friday, July 11, 2014. 3 years ago today I gave birth to our 3rd child, Amara Christian. Her hand wasn't even as big as Daniel's smallest fingernail, but it was just as precious. I've been marveling at the tiny perfection of Daniel's features for the past two weeks, but today I am particularly thankful for the privilege of feeling these fingers grip my own with such blessed life. The Becker Family: First Day of School

http://thebeckerfam.blogspot.com/2014/08/first-day-of-school.html

Friday, August 29, 2014. First Day of School. The girls had their first day of school on Monday. Bella started 3rd grade and Eva started Kindergarten. Bella was excited to start, which is a first for her! She settled right in. This year she starts Latin, and somewhat to our surprise, she totally loved it! I can't say I ever really expected her to put Latin up there with Art. She walked in the door Monday afternoon and greeted me with "Salve! So now it's just the boys and I at home in the mornings! The Becker Family: Preggo Buddies!

http://thebeckerfam.blogspot.com/2014/06/preggo-buddies.html

Wednesday, June 25, 2014. 2 friends, due 5 days apart. We left the kids with our husbands on Saturday and went out for coffee, pedicures, lunch, and shopping. I'm 37 weeks and 6 days here and Bess is 38 weeks and 4 days. Hopefully in a week or so we'll be able to post a picture of our babies together! Tears in my eyes. (Happy ones, by the way.) Praying for you both, and those much-loved babies, this week. June 26, 2014 at 10:54 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Simeon, my sweet. The End of an Era.

The Becker Family: Amara Christian Becker

http://thebeckerfam.blogspot.com/2011/06/amara-christian-becker.html

Thursday, June 23, 2011. Our sweet baby was greeted by aunts and uncles, great grandparents, and other children who would have been friends and classmates in heaven who have gone before us. Our child is surrounded by family and resting in the arms of God. Our hearts and prayers are with you and yours as you go through this heartbreak. We love you all and know that God will carry you through this grief. June 23, 2011 at 10:02 PM. We are still praying for you, and grieving with you. Love you so much! Thank...

The Becker Family: Summer!

http://thebeckerfam.blogspot.com/2015/05/summer.html

Thursday, May 21, 2015. I have a blog still! Maybe I should update it sometime. You are a way cooler mom than I am. We had a (fairly large for its type) garter snake on our porch a couple days ago and I would not let my kids touch it. I barely had the guts to be cheerful and brave while scooping it up in a shovel and putting it in a cardboard box to dump on the other side of the cow pasture! LOL My kids would love a garden excursion with you though, let me tell you. I am way not cool. Simeon, my sweet.

The Becker Family: 1 Month

http://thebeckerfam.blogspot.com/2014/07/1-month.html

Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Somehow, the days have continued to go by at a steady clip and Daniel passed the one month mark a few days ago. Here are a few pictures from our past few weeks. Here's our little one month old. In just the past few days he's become much more alert and aware of what's going on around him. I love looking down and seeing this little face peering up at me. He has some goofy faces too.here are a few showing "worry/cross eyed face". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The End of an Era.

http://thebeckerfam.blogspot.com/2015/06/june-26-2014.html

Friday, June 26, 2015. June 26, 2014. No time like the first birthday to post a birth story and pictures! We started out the day bright and early at the Breakfast Club downtown, as per tradition. I maybe ate half of this, but it was sooooo good. Nothing like a good pre-birth fuel up! We arrived at the hospital at 7 and everything was ready for us. Those little hats were going to go on my baby boy's head! I've never been this uncomfortable so soon. This is it. Here he comes. And Daniel William Leland Beck...

Life Actually

Thoughts on faith, fashion, and my fabulous little family. Friday, January 2, 2009. 2008 - A Year in the Life. Good-bye 2008. Hello 2009! After seeing the usual "best and worst of 2008" TV shows and magazine issues, I decided that I would do my own “year in review” here on the old blog. I was just saying last night that I don’t usually get all reflective at the changing of the years. Maybe it was just because I said that, I don’t know, but somehow, I began to reflect. He learned so much in 2008! He can n...

nadreck.me – Maunderings of a Digital Self

Maunderings of a Digital Self. From Kyoto with Love. April 10, 2018. April 10, 2018. I’ve been in Japan for a few days now, and have managed to not die, starve, or even get lost (I’ve always had a good sense of direction, and while the addressing. Here is a little. A quick glance at Maps to see how the streets are laid out has thus far been enough). It’s been fun! A few days in the Shibuya/Harajuku area of Tokyo, then took a Shinkansen down to Kyoto, where I spent today exploring the Fushimi Inari-taisha.
