A glimpse at our adventures in the classroom, the kitchen, and love. Monday, November 10, 2014. I get home tonight and am walking through the kitchen in my socks. As I pass the trash can, I notice the floor is a little slick. I'm wearing old socks and did just mop the floor. So, I'm thinking I did a pretty good job of mopping. I may or may not have slid through the kitchen Risky Business. Style a few times. Later, as Stephen and I are making dinner, he tells me to be careful because the floor is slick.

How could I forget? We have a pretty fun backyard now! First, my favorite! You have to pull it back with you to the top of the platform and get yourself situated. And then you're off! It's quite a drop.takes your stomach and everything! And, our addition to the backyard is the fire pit! More small group fun!

In the span of about three days, our July calendar went from fairly empty to slammed! Stephen and I have been on the go for the past few weeks. We are home now, which is nice, but also means summer is just as quickly coming to an end. My favorite kind of beach trip! And, of course ice cream! After Murfreesboro, Allyson and I went to Grandma's for a few days!

Before Stephen and I leave the Bull City as permanent residents, we wanted to make sure we hit some of our favorite spots! Here are some spots we made sure to hit. I don't love Nana Taco (shh don't tell anyone.most people do love. It), but Stephen does so we made sure to make a stop one day for lunch. Dame's Chicken and Waffles.
