Well, it's been a week since i got laid off from my job. no tears here, but i am still trying to get things sorted out at home, trying to find a schedule for myself and making the most of the extra time i've been given. Maybe it's time for me to update some programs on my computer and get the schedule laid out. i'll let you know how it goes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Homebody - week 1. Na kani o hula.

kalei's korner: how to save a life
http://kaleihiwahiwa.blogspot.com/2009/04/how-to-save-life.html
The dumping ground for my thoughts so i can make some space in my head. How to save a life. I donated blood today! Most people would probably take this for granted or not even give it a second thought, but it's been on my brain for 21 years. when my mother died of leukemia, i wanted to donate blood as a way of repaying those who selflessly gave their blood to her. And you know what else? I was inspiring enough for my husband that he donated again today too! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 0501 - ina t.

The dumping ground for my thoughts so i can make some space in my head. Walk to the edge. Choose with no regret. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is. I have this "thing" called "my oreo cookie". it's not a real cookie, but a concept that i have adopted about the immediate girls/women in my life - my mother and my daughters. When i photograph weddings, i love to do generational pictures. nothing speaks to me more about the longevity of a family than seeing multiple generations together.

Hubby still works for the company and we're all still happy and healthy. a minor hiccup in the road of life. some would call me crazy, but knowing that i'm paid until mid-august sure helps take the edge off. I'm so proud of our school, of its team, of its students, and of their fans. it's somewhat of a coincidence, but appropriate, that the colors of my blog are purple and gold. but tonight, they're the only colors that count. congratulations to both teams! http://kaleihiwahiwa.blogspot.com/2009/04/oh-how-years-go-by.html
The dumping ground for my thoughts so i can make some space in my head. Oh how the years go by. It's very ordinary evening and then i realize it's post-mid-april already. so i ask my 18-year old son, "what's going on with prom? And as the words come out of my mouth, i think. He hasn't finished working on the "date" part. so he says, "just ask me on friday.". Stay tuned, i'll update on friday. no kidding. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Oh how the years go by. The dumping ground for my thoughts so i can make some space in my head. It's all in your head. They say everybody suffers from stress to a certain degree, which i believe. i know my life is stressful enough without the added little things to worry me like career path or more medical conditions. and. All in all, i am thankful for the state of my health, knowing full well that others close to me are not so fortunate. All in these past 6 months. hmm, i sure don't do things the easy way, huh? I felt so proud...

The dumping ground for my thoughts so i can make some space in my head. It finally happened - i made it to 40! I'm not 40 years old yet, but i'm celebrating my hematocrit number.40! She also said that i don't have to see her anymore, which saddens me because i felt a sense of pride knowing that my. Doctor was voted one of seattle's best. I have never been happier to be 40 - i had a smile on my face that you couldn't wipe off. heck, i almost cried! A dream is a wish your heart makes.or is it? The second d...

The dumping ground for my thoughts so i can make some space in my head. The beautiful song of this treeh's leaves. Tomorrow my littlest sister is running her first marathon for the leukemia and lymphoma society of canada. this one is for many people, but especially honours our mother who died from leukemia 20 years ago (back when the little one was just 5). i am so proud of her, you have no idea. this tiny creature - all 4 feet 8.5 inches of her - is my hero. I started when i was five. Lady #2 - "WOW".
