Wednesday, December 28, 2005. Choked drains at Owen Road and Dorset Road junction. Reply from NEA on 24 Dec 2005:. We have since cleared the leaves in the drains at Owen Road and DorsetRoad. The stagnation of water in the drains is due to structural defects in the culvert at site. Thursday, March 30, 2006. Feedback On Drains and Road - St Michael's Road. See the big styrofoam box in the drain outside st michael's lodge. The almost 100% covered-up drop-inlet-chambers and the dirty drain near richmond condo. These debris will eventually flow into kallang river and end up in Marina Barrage and it will become a dumping ground instead of water-sport centre or reservoir. Attached is pond/drain between Bedok South Rd and Bedok South Avenue 3, next to Bedok Court Condo and nearby HDB flats. This pond collects excess water from drains during raining days. However this pond throughout the year is either filled with stagnant water for about 2 weeks after heavy rainfall or. Area is not under its care.

The drains along Chancery Lane and Gentle Lane are debris-free, so the only reason there is stagnant water is because the water doesn't drain.
