Auf eigene Faust durch's südliche Afrika – diesen Lebenstraum habe ich mir nun schon vier mal erfüllen können. So unternahm ich 2003 eine Reise durch Südafrika, 2004 und 2005 von Südafrika beginnend durch Namibia und 2009 meinen vorerst letzten Tripp durch Namibia und Botsuana mit einem Abstecher nach Simbabwe.
