Thanks to everyone for their help on getting amendment #1011 passed in the Senate budget. Unfortunately, Joe Giannino, our lobbyist, just contacted me with the bad news: our amendment failed. Here's what Joe said: There were 440 budget amendments and the Senate just "blazed" thru them. They created a bundle of YES amendments and a bundle of NO amendments.
