Sunday, April 17, 2011. Just two years ago on April 8, 2009, we received the most precious gift. Avery Isabella Montgomery. Meeting Tony while he was in China. Here's the birthday girl on her 2nd birthday. She is growing up so fast. Her party that was planned for Saturday has been postponed until I am up and around. Friday, July 27, 2012. Brooke and Clark invited us to go to Clark's duck lease with them last Saturday. It is about an hour from Dallas in a town called Meridian. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. No Snow in Tahoe and Rental Car Games. We are officially on vacation! We didn't book any hotels for the trip because we were not sure how long we wanted to stay at each place or exactly where we wanted to go. And now we are really glad we didn't. The plan was to ski Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe until Sunday and then head to Sonoma/Napa Valley. A pic at the lake. It's beautiful and we want to come back when we can ski. Their quote was originally $1500. Pretty crazy huh!

The last days flew by: going through everything in our apartment, cleaning and preparing for someone else to live where we had called home for the last 18 months. We came with two suitcases and a carry on and went home with the same; leaving much of what we purchased behind for the next Senior couple to enjoy. It was nostalgic, but exciting.
