Thursday, January 29, 2009. Today has been a very busy day. It all started at 6:15 am. Got up and got the kids up. Went back to bed. Got up again. Helped get the kids dressed. Made breakfast (and COFFEE). Brushed teeth. Located Gabby's P.E. clothes. Tied Jaden's. Shoes Loaded the dishwasher. Edgar left to take kids to school. Friday, August 7, 2009. My aunt and cousin came to see us and spent almost a week. I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed them being here. Aunt Jan actually baby sat for us while we went to a leadership retreat one night, and in heroic fashion took on the task of my kids camp laundry. She truly is wonderful! Friday, November 28, 2008. Black Friday = Good Day. Thursday, November 27, 2008. Thanksgiving has come and all our bellies are jolly. We spent the morning downtown at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was a blast. I think it was the best parade we have been to so far here in Houston. The rest of the day we have been at Edgar's sisters house in Pearland. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Monday, June 22, 2009. VBS is the BOMB! So last week we were in Oklahoma City doing VBS for Inner City OKC. What an amazing week! It was also great to be able to see my parents and my Memaw while I was there. I was however, very bummed that both of my nieces were sick and didn't get to come. Sunday, February 22, 2009. Just thought I would post a few pictures from the fun weekend at our house. You will see "The Four Amiga's". Who by the way, were absolutely amazing! I was so proud of them. And on top of it all .aren't they beautiful! Then there are a couple of football evaluation pictures. Jaden. We spent a week with Zane and Lexi and little Zane at the "White Coat Ceremony" at St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies! 160;It is beautiful there. We are so proud of Zane. We didn't get our luggage for 3 days after we got there so we had to wear some weird clothes for a few days! 160;This is on a sister island of Cariacou. It is so pretty. It was soooo hot! Nana and Papa's Journey. Friday, July 11, 2014. On our way home and reunions afterward. The last days flew by: going through everything in our apartment, cleaning and preparing for someone else to live where we had called home for the last 18 months. We came with two suitcases and a carry on and went home with the same; leaving much of what we purchased behind for the next Senior couple to enjoy. It was nostalgic, but exciting.
