We are very supportive of the Youth in the llama community. There are many ways youths can participate in projects with llamas. The 4-H clubs, FFA (Future Farmers of America) programs, Scouting, in-school programs and many more are some of the organized efforts to make learning about and working with llamas fun and rewarding. This site provides Youth Program guides, activity planners, and leader workbooks that you can download and use in your llama program. Please review our Kids Policy.

We invite folks to visit when we are doing normal llama maintenance such as shearing, grooming, toe-nail trimming, worming, vaccinations and boosters. If you do not see something on the schedule, call ahead and well let you know what we are up to. Youth groups are encouraged to come for a visit. None Planned at this time. Visit the CAL-ILA website. For a calendar of llama events in Northern California. Check with your local fairgrounds to see if they have any local llama events scheduled.

For local llama owners we have a portable llama chute that we rent to help you work with your llamas without worrying about injury to your llamas or yourself.
