As I was sitting here staring into space this morning instead of working it occurred to me how silly it is to use "Chinese Taipei" to refer to the whole of Taiwan. Then it came to me: the solution to the Taiwan question. Rename Taipei City and Taipei County. And cede it to the Peeps Republic of China. Would move to areas of the island outside Chicom Taipei and live happily ever after. I can think of stupider ideas (but not many)!

The reason I think they are hiding is based on my observation that attractive Taiwanese women, especially those dressed sexily, usually have a look of irritation on their face and appear to be in a hurry to get somewhere, or just away from "here".
