Life with the Walker's. Thursday, March 7, 2013. She discovered the stairs about 2 weeks ago and that has made my life more difficult. We don't have a great way to gate the stairs that is safe for Carly and the other kids. She is pretty good about going up and she is fast. It's opened a whole new world for her. She has taken a couple steps over the last two days. Just one or two, but she's getting braver. We could have a walker by next week! Using those toes as a teether. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life with the Walker's. Wednesday, August 21, 2013. We had a great 4th of July. We went to the Monument Parade in the morning and then had the family over for a bbq in the afternoon. It was so fun to spend the day with both our parents and Paul and Julie and the girls! Mason being a crazy little dare devil. Playing with the poppers I got for $1. The kids loved them! Life with the Walker's. Friday, February 15, 2013. Carly girl is 10 months! She is a great eater, but doesn't care for baby food much anymore. She wants the real stuff and eats everything we give her. It's awesome to have a kid who actually likes the meals I prepare! I really hope it stays that way. She naps for an hour in the morning and 2-3 hours in the afternoon. She goes to bed at 7 pm and is up between 6:30-7:30am. Life with the Walker's. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Carly's birthday pictures didn't exactly go as planned. She wasn't really feeling great, but since the appointment had been cancelled once before, I decided just to do it. This is what she looked like, probably half the time :(. I really do love this one. Just because she's unhappy doesn't mean she isn't gorgeous :). One decent one in her birthday dress. She perked up a bit when I brought out the balloons. But still no smiles. And we finally got one!

Albert and I are both pretty strong in math, so this is a great option for us right now. Bible: The Child's Story Bible. This was given to us when B was born and is listed in several different curriculum that I am interested in. It is excellent! The Big Book of Questions and Answers. Saturday, February 4, 2012. A room for her. When you first walk in, along the wall with the open door, is this yo-yo quilt. I had a terrible time getting the yo- yos.
