The Children Of The Revolution: August 2009
http://the-children-of-the-revolution.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
BLAMING BUSH FOR DEFICIT IS DISINGENUOUS. Today’s deficit figures from both the White House and the Congressional Budget Office are not pretty. In fact, they are record-setting. The administration’s report projects the 2009 deficit at $1.58 trillion. That figure jumps to a staggering $9 trillion. Over ten years, with no sustainable source of funding yet identified. When George W Bush left office in January of this year, he bequeathed a deficit of $1.3 trillion. The country has outgrown whatever taste it ...

The Children Of The Revolution: October 2009
http://the-children-of-the-revolution.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
I recently saw a diagram (. Right now what we are really looking at is one person’s visualization of how they view their own ideology, and a contrasting visualization of how they view people of a factious ideology. I could spend hours deconstructing this diagram and rewriting it to fit my personal worldview, but in the end I fear all I will do is replace one bias visualization with another. Furthermore, the diagram argues the left family teaches children to ask questions. I think this is fundamentall...

Views from the North Side of Dallas: Deathly Hallows
http://jchrisp.blogspot.com/2011/07/deathly-hallows.html
Sunday, July 17, 2011. The last movie and final movie is over and it was thoroughly satisfying. The movie enhanced the books. Once again a great story and good acting rise above cinematic gimmicks (I saw the 2D version, more on that later). The child actors have certainly grown, but the surrounding giants allow the film and series to excel. Grand films might just need a break. This is not a new idea at all. Movies such as Ben Hur and Lawrence of Arabia had intermissions. Why? View my complete profile.
