What does it cost to participate in the National Rural ACO and the Medicare Shared Savings Program? If you achieve shared savings, CMS will deduct the pre-payment from your shared savings bonuses. If you do not achieve shared savings, CMS will forgive the pre-payments as long as you remain in the program for 3 years and you comply with the rules of the program.
