Just a simple collection of stories, experiences, pictures, and thoughts on life and motherhood. Saturday, September 13, 2014. The Toronto International Film Festival 2014 is almost over but what a line up of movies to watch. There's a buzz in the air for movies such as Foxcatcher, The Judge, The Imitation Game and Wild. http://www.ode2motherhood.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Just a simple collection of stories, experiences, pictures, and thoughts on life and motherhood. Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Mom, you know what's awesome? JP was the first to greet me with hugs and kisses. What a sweet little boy! And on Mother's Day, here's how my boys treated me. A bouquet of spring flowers. How thoughtful! And my favourite chicken souvlaki dinner. They know their Mama. Why can't Mother's Day be every day? Posted by Ode to Motherhood. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

A different kind of white I like – in the autumn light
https://intheautumnlight.com/2010/03/03/a-different-kind-of-white-i-like
In the autumn light. A different kind of white I like. Today while walking the dog, I thought about how much. I look at my wicker chairs that didn’t quite make it into the garage before the snow arrived and I try to imagine when next I will be sitting in them. I love an array of scents in the garden. They linger in my mind long after the flowers have finished blooming.Do you have a favourite flower scent that holds good memories for you? A spring in my step. The Garden Ms. S. Ode to Motherhood: January 2015
http://www.ode2motherhood.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Just a simple collection of stories, experiences, pictures, and thoughts on life and motherhood. Saturday, January 17, 2015. What I Have to Do. It's mid-Janurary and I know I haven't posted in awhile. I've had some health issues, and I've been focusing my time and energy on taking care of myself. I didn't have much choice in the matter. I could sulk and be depressed, or I could do something about it. I chose to be proactive in my health. That meant a change in lifestyle, and making good food choices.

The Giddy Garden Gnome. A journal documenting the trials and tribulations of gardening on the rocky coast of Downeast Maine. My attempt at keeping in touch with my many friends and loved ones who live all across the nation. Monday, April 19, 2010. Of Firsts and Lasts. There was much work to be done in the garden upon my return back home and, although I missed the annual few days when the crocus bloomed, I was pleased that the daffodils, hyacinth and primroses were blooming for me. My eldest son, Jason, i...

simply nice: some fun
http://6simplynice.blogspot.com/2007/11/some-fun.html
Thursday, November 15, 2007. Cool art that will mess with your head! How many horses in this picture? You should find 7. Look at the middle column. Where does it end? Do you see four people? Who is the tallest? Or, the word 'liar'? What do you see here? Do you see the word "LIFT"? Or, a bunch of black splotches? GIRLS ARE ABLE TO SPOT THE WORD "LIFT" EASILY. MEN FIND IT DIFFICULT TO SEE THE WORD "LIFT"! I found all of them right away. OH, I love stuff like this! November 15, 2007 at 10:29 PM.
