Jul 15, 2015. Why I'm Essentially Getting Off of Facebook. What are my friends doing? I also struggle really, really badly with living in the present moment. Facebook doesn't help push me toward my goal of being present, but instead, it pushes me further and further away from it. "Why can she decorate her house so nicely with brand new things? Why would they allow their kid to eat that? How could he think that's okay? Or worse yet, I pay more attention to my phone than I do to Chuck. And for what? I've t...

Aug 13, 2015. There's something especially peaceful about taking the time. To brew yourself a cup of French pressed coffee. The past couple days have been those. I feel like you should know that just as I finished writing that last sentence, Junia woke up and started crying for me. So I went and calmed her down and got her back to sleep - thankfully! My healing stones/crystals after charging under the sun. That right there really got me. He was right. And I was procrastinating. I gathered up a yoga block...

Nov 28, 2014. Book Review: Woman Designed By God. Earlier this year I reviewed Jeremy and Amanda Hess' book, Baby Designed by God. I was super impressed, and I knew that I couldn't wait until Woman Designed by God. Came out as well. Well, lucky for me, it's here! We'll go ahead and start with the physical details first. Woman Designed by God. Is a little over 140 pages long, and is the exact same size (length/width wise) as Baby Designed by God. The paper is a different quality than Baby Designed by God.

Jan 9, 2015. It's a hard cycle. It feels unfair and hard, and it's not very fun. Battling a headache while Junia pulls my hair while she's nursing, Q tries to fingerprint my eyeglasses, and little people cry in frustration is just plain old difficult. So for the past three days we've spent the entire mornings (meaning from the time everyone gets up. Yuck) It's been fun in it's own way, but I am looking forward to having life back to normal and having everyone feel good. This morning, Timehop. And it's ha...

Apr 10, 2015. Product Review: Power PraiseMoves. You might remember me writing about PraiseMoves. A little over a year ago. I was quite thrilled to find something that resembled the quiet and peacefulness of yoga, but at the same time, encouraged you to focus on Jesus while you were exercising. After a while of doing 40 Days (see previous review! I realized that I was ready for something more challenging with a few more postures that would get me moving in different ways. I'm looking forward to getting b...

Mar 30, 2015. Product Review: Hotmilk Nursing Bra. I am so excited about this review. SO EXCITED! I'm just going to start by saying that this is THE. Most comfortable bra (nursing or otherwise! That I've ever put on. And by far the most beautiful too! People are right when they say that a correctly fitting bra makes all the difference. It's no joke. We'll have to see.). And that leads me to. This bra was made to hold nursing boobs! It has a a 6 hook and eye closure on the back. SIX! This bra is going to ...

So if you've been wondering.here's the lowdown! Tomorrow we're officially taking possession of our very first home! After we were done eating, we went and found a Goodwill a...
