Somewhere between the beach and the swamp, the boys are carving out a Florida life. Saturday, July 5, 2014. It's been a while! I'm noticing a trend with this favorite second son of ours. http://floridaink.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Somewhere between the beach and the swamp, the boys are carving out a Florida life. Friday, November 22, 2013. THAT'S WHAT HOLIDAY IT IS. 1) The next holiday is Thanksgiving. I know this for a fact, despite the fact that none of the stores have ANY decent selection of Turkey or Scarecrow bulletin boards. That I need for the school party Monday. 2) I also know this, despite the fact that the party is called a FALL party, and not a holiday/Thanksgiving party. What was that thing Seinfeld had? I realize I n...

http://floridaink.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Somewhere between the beach and the swamp, the boys are carving out a Florida life. Saturday, December 20, 2014. It's the MOST wonderful time of the year. You can see how well all that smiley preparation paid off. There's our serious Sam, looking a bit bewildered. It *could* be because it was 8:30 at night, and we're normally winding down for bedtime, not partying in a candy house. Or it could be because he had just woken up from a 2 hour nap. Or. maybe it was Santa after all? First Steps, First Turkey.

Florida Ink: May 2014
http://floridaink.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Somewhere between the beach and the swamp, the boys are carving out a Florida life. Friday, May 23, 2014. Well, hey there! We've survived the 'most brutal winter in a dozen years' or something like that. The sad part is, the last 'record snows' the state had.is when we were in college here. Sigh. But, all winter long, I kept my eyes on Easter. If we make it to Easter, I thought, life will be good! The babe will stop crying, and we'll have a bit more of a routine, and we'll be able to go outside again.

Somewhere between the beach and the swamp, the boys are carving out a Florida life. Friday, February 28, 2014. What did you say? Thought I'd catch you up on things around here. Mostly, I sleep. and eat, and pee. I make all sorts of odd noises (grunts, squeaks, smacks). Some days, I cry. A lot. But never when there's company. Can you believe I'm a month already? I open my eyes a little bit more now, and look around at people. This is my big brother, Kaden. He's really nice to me. He talks a lot. We don't ...

Somewhere between the beach and the swamp, the boys are carving out a Florida life. Friday, October 10, 2014. The Many Sides of Serious Sam. So I logged on with a specific idea to post today.
