Giving It A Tri
http://givingitatri.blogspot.com/2006/08/i-am-triathlete.html
Wednesday, August 30, 2006. I AM A TRIATHLETE! Santa Barbara Race Report. I did my first triathlon, and I had a blast. I think my adrenaline was pumping for at least an hour after finishing the race. It was hard to relax actually because I was just so pumped up. My wife valiantly fought her way around the course to take photos. In fact, I think her legs were more sore than mine. Thanks, Honey! Friday night we had dinner with a group from the LA Tri Club. That night I was very excited, so I didn’t sleep v...

PamSpace: Nautica Malibu
http://pamathlon.blogspot.com/2008/09/nautica-malibu.html
Thursday, September 18, 2008. In his own version of the midlife crisis, my brother decided he wanted to jump on the triathlon bandwagon, and asked me if I had any interest in doing the Nautica Malibu triathlon. Despite the fact that I've officially retired from TNT. I managed to train somewhat regularly over the summer. I even did a great swim in Aquatic Park. Historically, the race has been a celebrity triathlon offering a sprint distance only. The race directors must have looked at their financial ...

Sunday, September 28, 2008. Don't ask me how, but Matthes, the INDOOR CAT, has gotten fleas. In the past month, I have flea bombed, I have had pest control come and spray toxic chemicals, I have washed my bedding and vacuumed maniacally, I have put Matthes on Advantage (a funny story for another blog entry). And tonight, I returned from a wonderfully relaxing and flea-free weekend at Sea Ranch. To find fleas, fleas and more fleas. I decided it was time to give Matthes a flea bath. Man on bike killed.

A blog about Joel and his life and 3d adventures. Friday, September 29, 2006. First, but not the last. Well my first triathlon is complete, and it was a blast! I finished the whole race. With a time of 02:01:35.5 Not bad, just a little over a minute and a half off my goal. Other great news is that I was the 7th highest fundraiser on the Walt Disney TriTeam. I raised $2960 for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Another huge thanks to my lovely wife Tina. Friday, September 08, 2006. Be throwin...
