Navigating the Path toward Parenthood

Navigating the Path toward Parenthood. Wednesday, September 10, 2008. A few days ago, T and I broke the news to my mother. Over breakfast, we said we had some news. Her eyes shone, and she started to smile. It was clear she thought she knew what we were going to say. No, don't get excited," I said. "This isn't good news.". At that, her thoughts went to the worst case scenario. "Should I get out some Kleenex? No, it's not bad news, either. It's just - we are starting IVF.". Links to this post. T and I met...

Navigating the Path toward Parenthood: Baby Shower

http://www.navigatingthepath.blogspot.com/2008/07/baby-shower.html

Navigating the Path toward Parenthood. Saturday, July 26, 2008. As far as baby showers go, and judged from the perspective of a rational observer, Hope’s shower offered up nothing about which to complain. No over-the-top cutesiness, baby talk evenly balanced with non-baby talk, and only two party games – participation voluntary. I am not a rational observer. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Back in the Stirrups Again. Oct 2006: Began TTC. Feb 2008: Began IUI. Mar 2008: Began IUI Clomid.

Navigating the Path toward Parenthood. Sunday, July 20, 2008. Back in the Stirrups Again. There's that old saying about doing the same thing, over and over, and expecting different results this. Time as a sign of insanity. I found myself with my feet up in the stirrups over the past two days for yet another IUI. Hoping again that I'll defy the 3% success rate odds. In June, my entire treatment cycle was canceled because the Clomid. Caused me to develop ovarian cysts. I couldn't start Clomid.

Infertility & Hope: December 2008

http://infertility-hope.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

We decided we should start a family in 2005. Back then, I had no idea what that would involve. After our long journey, we are expecting a baby girl in May 2009 and we couldn't be more thrilled! Monday, December 01, 2008. It's still hard to believe, I'm here at over 15 weeks, almost making the four month mark! And boy does my belly look it. No more keeping it a secret, it's pretty obvious at least to people who know me. Well not the wet panties, but the pg. I want to know! I will post some belly pics soon.

Thursday, July 23, 2009. This motherhood thing is so under rated. We are all thriving, healthy and happy. Baby K is growing like a weed! In about half ...

Navigating the Nuances

In the wilds known as the 20s, there is no sure pathway to self, adulthood, or the clear vision of just what life should "look" like. This is my first attempt to capture the observations, experiences, inspirations, and complete mishaps that shape my personal journey as a modern female with old fashioned quirks. And, well, if sometimes my mishaps outnumber my insights, I hope my antics charm you. Monday, November 18, 2013. My inspiration this week (and yes, this season, since I have neglected Nuances.
