I figure, I have facebook to keep in touch with friends and family, and I have my journal to "journal" my life's happenings and thoughts. I do enjoy blogging for certain happenings with the family. Sunday, June 28, 2009. I have really been enjoying teaching myself to sew. Tackling. One pattern at a time. It's been really fun to sew with friends. Several of my friends are teaching themselves right now too- or rediscovering sewing after being away from it for a long time. There's something really rewarding creating something useful, pretty and liked. And pretty and comfy and cute! I had a lot of fun making. Click on Picture to zoom in and see more Detail). bloom and grow: Homemade Halloween, 2010
http://saracolorado.blogspot.com/2010/10/sewing-halloween-costumes-2010.html
Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Homemade Halloween, 2010. I was planning on only making 2 clown costumes, but Bryce decided (after seeing the others)- that he wanted one too. I thought "Why not? It wont be long before he refuses to let me make him fun costumes." He'll soon be at the age where he'll want to be a phantom or monster or something scary and not cute. So, I did it! It was a lot of fun making these. Like how it turned out! You did a great job! October 28, 2010 at 8:37 PM. Matt and Sarah Wink.

bloom and grow: A Family Tree
http://saracolorado.blogspot.com/2013/12/a-family-tree.html
Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Last night, we decorated the tree after visiting Hallmark. It was a lot of fun and the kids are always excited to see their previous year's ornaments. Our tree is lovely. It is a family tree. It is more lovely than if it were professionally decorated with the finest and most expensive ornaments. It reflects my family. That was beautifully written. its the perfect description of our hoe and tree too. these times are going too fast! December 13, 2013 at 6:25 PM.

It was a fabulous time all in all- great to spend time with each other as a family- no distractions.just some good family fun and memories for us all. The perfectly roasted marshmallow. Listening to the light rain in the dry trailer. A furnace in the trailer. The misty clouds in the morning. The brisk fresh air. Just finis...

Monday, April 20, 2009. I know.it's been FOREVER since I've blogged. I don't know why, but it just hasn't been a priority, and there really hasn't been all that much to blog about in my opinion. Isabel and Bryce have been in karate for a few months now, and they are enjoying it and working hard. They earned their first belt and stripe last week! Just leaving it all out and set up and sew! We've had a WONDERFUL time sewing- a week of fun. I couldn't be happier! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
