Piston Broke is now sold. PISTON BROKE IS NOW SOLD. Sunday, 30 September 2012. Yes we are still around but as we are going back over old ground what do you write about? We are moored up at the popular spot with the rats you know where I mean, not that we have seen any rats I did see a squashed badger on the road but is the only wild life to date. Piston Broke is now sold. PISTON BROKE IS NOW SOLD. Friday, 24 May 2013. Too cold to paint. Today is blowing a hooley yet again but the forecast is better for tomorrow and the rest of the weekend which will be good for the Crick show. Plenty of boats have past us recently on their way so hopefully they are safely moored up now. Normally at this time of the year the double glazing has been removed and the fire cleaned out who would have thought we would still be in “winter” mode in May? Links to this post.

We have been busy packing and now the boat has a bit of a list. It will be a very sad day for us after 6 very happy years and as I am sure you can imagine Paul is dreading leaving his “baby”. Therefore this blog has now come to an end so its a big goodbye from me and a bigger goodbye from him……. Regards to you all Lynne and Paul.

Nb Muriel and her travels along the waterways of Great Britain. Tuesday, 16 October 2012. We're making good progress on our way home. On Friday we tackled 20 locks, surprisingly there were very few boats on the move and we got through 13 of the 15 Audlem locks before meeting another boat. The fact that all bar one had been set against us was a tad unlucky, but we made up for it at Adderley where they were all in our favour. We stopped for a brew half way up the Audlem flight.
