The blog for English students at Cromwell College. Debating is about style, structure, argument, and knowledge and it is an incredibly useful and enjoyable activity. Here at Cromwell College we have reactivated debating in 2014 and we are fielding teams from Year 8 to Year 13. On July 2 the senior team (well, Hamish and two Year 10 students – Cameron and Mason) had a great debate against the Dunstan High School senior team. Network Côte d’Orange is a networking club of enthusiastic Dutch speaking women living and working on the French Riviera and in Provence. The members have demanding jobs, are business owners or are very active as volunteers. The NCO was founded in 2006 and has the official status as Association since 2008. We meet regularly to network over lunch or drinks and organise fundraising events such as Pink Ribbon and Make-A-Wish.
