My mad, mess of a life! Asymp; Leave a comment. There is an old saying: sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. Well it isn’t true! Words can be cruel, you play them back in your head again and again, wondering if that person meant to be so hurtful, wondering if there is any truth in what they are saying, words hurt for longer, bruises heal, words sometimes stay with you forever and pop back into your mind at the most inappropriate time. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars and our life has been on hold for 3 years. We have done everything we can to build the family we hoped for but at some point you have to say enough is enough. We have to move on with our lives.
