What’s a Nebnose? It’s only words…. In Remembrance of My Father. 030713 at 9:33 am. My dad passed eleven years ago today. I’ll be putting flowers on his grave today as I pray and remember him. I wrote this on March 28, 2010. In Remembrance of My Father. For my dad, on what would have been his 89th birthday. My dad, mom, and I attend a friend’s wedding in the mid ’80’s. I bring you flowers now. How you used to refuse to plant them. You couldn’t eat them. So you’d plant vegetables. The joy of providing.

Whenever he had visitors or the strength to venture out, he soon grew weary of having to explain his illnesses. Instead, he’d joke that my mom hid his shoes so he couldn’t go anywhere.
