Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner: December 2013
http://christiegardiner.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner. Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Gardiner Family Christmas Letter 2013. Dear Friends and Family,. What a year 2013 has been for the Gardiner clan! I looked over some of our pictures from the past year and couldn’t help but be full of gratitude. We’ve had some hard things and some magical things. We’ve learned a lot and grown a lot. What could be better? Doug is entering his 15. Year working for Seagull Book! It’s just Doug, gardening in his headlamp. What a great dad!

Stand Here by Me: June 2014
http://deut531.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 3, 2014. All of these aspects of life here are so intertwined with each other, and together they make up what is probably my favorite part of this culture and this country. I l o v e. Walking outside and greeting all of my neighbors as I make my way down these dusty streets. And I l o v e. That people genuinely care, whether you are sitting in the sun or you are not eating enough around the bowl. And I l o v e. Denga bax=you are good.). Recently I came across Neighbor's Table. It doesn't ha...

Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner: February 2012

Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner. Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Erin, Henry, and Oliver visit! Erin, Henry and Oliver came for a visit. We had a great few days and miss them terribly when they aren't here. Truth be told, Henry's multiple injuries made me terrified to birth a boy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Um, yeah, he's hot. Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner: September 2012
http://christiegardiner.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. I just spent a week with my family in Washington D.C. at Robert and Erin's house. It was the last time we are going to be all together before Morgan's mission. It was a great time. Robert and Erin are such generous people, great hosts! It was nice to walk into my own home, but my heart physically aches. Other things may change us but we start and end with family.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Um, yeah, he's hot. Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner: May 2013
http://christiegardiner.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner. Sunday, May 26, 2013. I've spent the past two days at Libby's dance recital. I just loved it. I cried through the whole thing. Twice. At Libby's dance studio they base their recitals on a chosen story. At this recital the performance was based on the book "Dream" by Susan Bosak. It was lovely and adorable and flawed and perfect. I was done for before it even began. Pretty powerful stuff for a dance studio recital. But what if it isn't her dream? With Libby it's a bit...

Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner: On having a hysterectomy at 33.
http://christiegardiner.blogspot.com/2013/08/on-having-hysterectomy-at-33.html
Musings on Life by Christie Gardiner. Sunday, August 25, 2013. On having a hysterectomy at 33. How do you sit to compose your thoughts when your thoughts make no sense and are as quick to change as the thunderstorms we've had the past couple of days? I had a hysterectomy at age 33, one week ago. Here is some of how I feel. There's the guilt. Did I do enough? Did I try hard enough? Doug is the best dad; he deserved more children. Am I being dramatic? Was it really that bad? There's the Hope. I'm think...
