Thursday, December 29, 2005. Not the usual christmas party. For the past 5 years now, our office christmas party has been held at the same place. But this year, it was practically the same but something was different :). For one, it was an austere preparation for me.no dress this time! Just my usual MK (Mita Kokusai) attire .except the maong pants :). And this time, i just had powder and lipstick on ;) no contribution to the cash register of david's :D. It is being with the persons that matter most.

Sunday, August 20, 2006. Take a bow :). Last friday, another one of the friendships said her goodbye to nsp. I used to have a personal thought ( mae used to echo this by the way ) that she would be the last friendship standing in nsp. But this was not to be. Despite all the major adjustments she and her family has to make because of her decision to take that leap of faith, all it takes is the willpower to change. And for that,. Take a bow mae :). Monday, November 27, 2006. Over the years, one question (albeit differently phrased) kept popping up. When man ka mag minyo? Musta na imo husband? My answer has always been a "wala pa lagi." delivered with a wry smile. As usual, i dismissed this implication about my status which is still single and living with my parents. :D. I am not sure why people kept on bugging us singles about our status. is it a deep concern for mankind that we will not be contributing good genes? Is it just a conversation opener?

Sunday, July 23, 2006. Instead of trying to assimilate the kanji being fed to us by sensei, i ended up watching 2 hallmark lovestories . What the heck, it was a saturday nite anyway :). I rarely watch anything on hallmark but while surfing the tv looking for something worthwhile to do (i.e. other than study of course), i got a glimpse of a familiar face on the hallmark channel. Saturday, September 30, 2006. After being treated to a superb dinner of predominantly red-orange colored (i.e. italian tomato sauce laden) food by generous officemates and friends, my labs and i went to CM to try to work out the extra carbohydrates we have just loaded into our system. work out here means doing some bowling. Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Got a bouquet of tulips for valentine's! Just learned that tulips mean perfect love. When i was just coming in the office, i actually noticed that flowers were being delivered at about the same time. i thot how lucky in luv the recipient is . Saturday, March 18, 2006. Been a fan of jet li since i first saw shaolin temple and. And the once upon a time in china series so you can. Just imagine how happy i am to see my hero on the. Big screen ;). However, this is the first movie of jet li that i was not. So engrossed with the action scenes. not that the action. Was less entertaining. i was touched by the story.
