Suite : Bhaktapur, temple de Nyatapola. Nagarkot, club himalaya. Nagarkot se situe à une trentaine de kilomètres de Kathmandou à 2200m d'altitude. C'est l'un des points de la vallée de Kathmandou où l'on a une des belles plus vues sur les châines de l'Himalaya. Par très beau temps, il est possible d'apercevoir le plus haut sommet du monde : l'Everest. Ce ne sera pas pour nous. Ci-dessous quelques vues de la chaîne de montagne. Et quelques vues de l'autre côté sur la vallée de Kathmandou.

Le temple de Bhairava, à trois étages et de surface rectangulaire, est, comme le temple de Nyatapola, une donation de Bhupatindra Malla en 1717. Suite : Kathmandou - temple swayambhunath. Patan, Durbar Square. Ce qui signifie littéralement "place du palais" correspond au coeur de ville de Patan. Ces places se trouvaient devant les résidences royales et servaient d'audience publique. On retrouve des "Durbar Square" dans toutes les villes de résidence royale. Suite : Changu Narayan, tour de ville. Kathmandou, Bodnath, le grand stupa. A partir d'une grande avenue de Kathmandou, nous franchissons une porte et pénétrons dans une petite ruelle. En fait c'est l'une des nombreuses petites ruelles qui donnent accès à la place circulaire qui abrite le grand stupa. Le stupa est entourée d'un ensemble de petits commerces pour touristes qui empêchent tout recul pour la prise de photo. Donc direction une des boutiques pour l'achat de cartes postales ;-).

Ce village est célèbre pour abriter l'un des plus anciens temples de la vallée de Kathmandou. Pour accéder au temple, il faut traverser le village de Changu Narayan. La rue vers le temple.
