Early wake-up call to go and see the sunrise at Sarangekot Hill. But it is worth the effort as the sun is just starting to rise:. The sun starts to appear over the mountains. Colin, Helen and Angel. Getting ready to cross the lake to see the Peace Pagoda. Compared to Kathmandu these roads in Pokhara are in excellent condition! The sun starting to set over Pokhara Lake.

The road from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Once the bus leaves the Kathmandu city area our route mostly follows the Trisuli River and we see a constant backdrop of the river and terraced field landscapes. The Trisuli River seems to go on forever . . . As do the terraced fields. A beautiful view seen from the terrace of the restaurant.
