The Mirror up to Nature
http://mirroruptolife.blogspot.com/2008/04/bad-habit-productions-last-show-was.html
The Mirror up to Nature. Boston Theater and Beyond. Thursday, April 03, 2008. Bad Habit Productions last show was David Mamet's. I heard good things about the show, but didn't catch it myself. Their current show is a play by Neil Simon. And I will try to see it. Because, well, as much as we complain about Simon, we really don't see his work that much anymore, at least not on stage. Barefoot in the Park. The play was a smash hit, but does not represent the Broadway of that time so accurately as some think.

Friday, September 27, 2013. Shoutout to my friend Ginger Lazarus. And her new play Burning. Premiering at the Playwrights' Theater tonight and running into mid October. She's updated the story and character of Cyrano de Bergerac to a modern lesbian discharged from the military under DADT. I saw its first reading several years ago when it was still a one-act, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it has developed since. There's more details in this wonderful globe article. My next project is a lot different than the rest of the things I have been posting about, but it does bear some resemblance to at least one show I've done before: The Pillowman. Both plays by Irish playwrights use complex language to explore the thoughts of captive people. Produced by Bad Habit. Going up November 2 at the BCA. Friday, October 4, 2013. I've updated Chiaramonte Costume. With a set of fantastic Aurora pictures courtesy Meghan Quigley.
