Nether Ervie Farm and local attractions. Nether Ervie is a small holding of 27 acres. It includes a farm house, the Middle Barn, Foresters Cottage and estate agricultural buildings. The land is equally divided between Whitehill which is grazing, woodland of mixed deciduous and evergreen trees and a field adjacent to the buildings which is being developed as a wildlife habitat. The Middle barn holiday accomodation

The Middle Barn is a traditional Scottish stone building that has been improved to form luxury accommodation for up to 4 people. The barn consists of an internal porch leading to a small hall off which is the kitchen, a toilet, a cupboard and the lounge. Passing though the kitchen a door opens on to the two double bedrooms and shower room. A door to the right of the fireplace leads to a raised walled patio with views over the surrounding countryside.

From Ayr, follow the A713 south through Carsphairn and St John's town of Dalry. Continue south passing the Ken Bridge Hotel and the Galloway Activity Centre. There are then three bends marked by chevron boards followed by a stretch of wider straight road. The access track to Nether Ervie is on the left, shortly before the road begins to rise. Accesss to Nether Ervie from the A713 is via a concrete track (after a short length of tarmac), which leads from the cattle grid adjacent to some sheep pens.

Bookings for less than a full week are charged as follows:-. 3 nights or less 210. The price includes towels, bed linen, heating oil and electricity plus a complimentary starter pack of groceries.
