Disruption to normal services. The head of the School of Media asked me to go to Sweden to make a documentary about a team of DIT students. They were going to be putting an experiment into a rocket. I would be living on a space base for two weeks. Here’s my blog about it all: http:/ telescobetagalong.wordpress.com. Enter your comment here.

Music | Frankie Whelan dot com

Frankie Whelan dot com. Homepage of author, musician and panda – Frankie Whelan. I started my days as a singer/songwriter and was about to record my debut album when some old school friends were in need of a bass player. I’m currently focusing on the writing of books rather than music, but I do intend to record that debut album before the end of Summer 2011 and then I’ll feel free to focus on the future. I’ll post up some music once I get it to a nice standard🙂. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Skip to main content. Skip to primary sidebar. Skip to secondary sidebar. Design blog of Frank E. Whelan. Results – Semester 2. Results came out yesterday. Most of them were expected. The unfinished products cost me in both Authoring Practice and Dynamic Web, and that made perfect sense.A decent result in Design Principles felt good, considering I did the lion’s share of the documentation for our major project. Unfortunately one result seemed completely out of place: Creativity and Innovation = 32%.

The Death of an App. Today dynamic web killed me. Killed me dead. My concept was pretty off-the-rails in terms of what everyone else was doing. I was planning an Assassins type game using the database and Phonegap’s ability to lever the device’s camera function. 8220;Catch the 540”. I fooled myself with the notion that in my rep...

I was quietly confident about it. Serene in fact. The goal was a media player and there’s so much built in functionality in Flash, I just assumed it’d be a case of tweaking some code snippets.
