The Brown Family Blog. Saturday, February 22, 2014. Part Two: Celebrating with Grandparents. After Leighton's nap, BB and Pops came over and we had a birthday dinner followed up with dessert. LB loves owls so she blew out a number 2 candle on an adorable owl cupcake. She opened more presents afterwards, what a day! Then Grandmom and Danny G came to visit Leighton for her birthday and surprised her with a giant box of goldfish (huge success! What a ham.don't mind the food in her mouth!

The Brown Family Blog. Tuesday, July 16, 2013. I need to make it blog official that we are expecting Baby Brown #2 in just one month! Eoin (pronounced Owen) Hughes Brown is due August 16th! Fun Around the House. Riding the Pullen Park Train. Yogurt face.saying "cheese". 34 weeks and 20 month bellies. Afterwards she took a long nap and then we went out to the beach for family play time. At 9pm, Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, and Beaufort all set off fireworks. Leighton was NOT a fan! Fun Around the House.

The Journey Through An International Adoption. Wednesday, February 1, 2012. It was one year ago today (Feb 1st, 12:15am central) that we signed the adoption papers in Nepal. It is difficult to believe that our family has been our family for entire year. His growth (emotional, educational, and somewhat physical) has been outstanding. The Brown's are currently working with other Nepal "Pipeline" Families and some U.S. Senators to try and get Nepal back open for U.S. adoptions. Sunday, January 22, 2012.
