Home is where the Coast Guard sends us. Technology Dependent Directionally Challenged= No Bueno. March 14, 2014. As I was sitting in awful DC traffic today and my phone reminded me that I only had about 30 minutes left of battery life I realized how dependent I am on technology. I don’t know if it’s because Nick and I have lived in an area with 192 people but I am terrified of being around other drivers on major highways now. Or maybe it’s me getting older? Anywho, I hope you all have a great weekend!

Friday, May 29, 2015. Honestly, it is a lot of work, and even more so than people would imagine. Want to see what a typical chore list looks like around here? Well, that's what you're getting today. Every day, morning and night, we have to feed and water all of the animals. That's 6 different types of animal, 5 different types of food and 8 different bowls to fill. And I dunno if you've tried picking up a 5 gallon bucket lately, but they are heavy. So all and any water either comes from rain or the house.
