I've been commissioned by saxophonist Shawna Pennock to compose a work for solo tenor saxophone that serves as a performer's introduction to the extended technique of singing while playing. The piece will be premiered in the Fall of 2017, and will be recorded by Shawna as part of her DMA dissertation. Has been named a 1st-place Laureate Ensemble of the inaugural M-Prize Chamber Arts Competition. In Ann Arbor, MI! I have been selected to attend the Norfolk New Music Workshop.
