The big news this month in Brussels was the release of the European Commission proposal for the next Multi-annual Financial Framework, which includes an increase in budget for development cooperation as well as a call for an EU-wide Financial Transaction Task. Also on health aid effectiveness, Plan colleagues and partners from the Philippines and Cambodia were in Brussels for an Action for Global Health donor roundtable on aid effectiveness and participated in a successful AfGH MDG event.
