Thursday, August 31, 2006. Engagement Photoshoot at Stanford. Last weekend we finally got around to doing our photo shoot. Melanie, Milton, Kim, and Yi were of great help! Check out my flickr. The D70s's, 18-200, 18-55, 80-200 lenses were all given opportunities to shine and the results are abosolutely radiant. Thanks Yi and Milton on a job well done. For a more than a year Wikipedia was blocked in China, consequently after a year of heckles from Reporters without Borders and other NGO's, people in China can once again access unfettered information from the website without going through fancy proxies. Friday, March 31, 2006. Wow I am tall, and my arms are buff! Well, not really, the picture was taken by Milton's Tokina 12-24mm lens at the widest setting. Wise purchase Milton! I love the angles and the effects you can get with this $500 glass. Imagine the architectural or scenery shots you can capture with this puppy. Thursday, October 26, 2006. China Trip - Part One 9/28 PVG to Bund 18. Another education trip to China. oh the memories. i'll try to recap some of it piecemeal. Thursday September 28 2006. 7:00 AM got up early to visit Jamie's grandma. 10:00 AM met up with my cousin to go to PVG to pick up David. 11:30 AM picked up David, started driving to dave's hotel near 徐家汇. 12 00 PM went in the wrong direction on A20 the outter circle highway of Shanghai. 2:20 PM too tired to drive, gave back control to my cousin.
