And other adventures in Indiana, PA. Saturday, August 23, 2008. Meanwhile, 2 weeks later. Well, folks, I have been back home in SF for two weeks now, and have been working on making up for all the sushi I could not eat over the summer. Work started officially this week, and the students came back yesterday, so now I am tired from having to reset to my 6:45 am wake up schedule. Le sigh. Sunday, August 3, 2008. And other adventures in Indiana, PA. Friday, June 12, 2009. Meanwhile, 10 months later. So clearly I have not been inspired to keep up with this blog about summer in Indiana, PA, since I came back home to San Francisco, CA. Keeping up with Nings, Facebook, Twitter, Google Reader- so much information, so much social media fatigue. Anyway, in the spirit of camraderie and whatnot, I am going to keep this blog going this summer. So far, it has looked like this photo. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Literacy! Technology! Ole!: Reflections toward the end
http://jenninschool.blogspot.com/2008/08/reflections-toward-end.html
And other adventures in Indiana, PA. Sunday, August 3, 2008. Reflections toward the end. Well, folks, I have four nights left in Indiana, PA, before I bid it adieu and return to my beloved SF. So, this summer I have realized that who I am in academia has everything to do with my dad and our relationship, but also that I can do this on my own, and in doing so, I honor all of him that is in me. Which is exactly what he would have wanted. And still does. And will always. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Gian Pagnucci's Reflective Research Blog: TechTeaching
http://pagnucci.blogspot.com/2008/06/techteaching.html
Gian Pagnucci's Reflective Research Blog. Thursday, June 19, 2008. I'm especially interested in what to call technology-based composition teaching. It seems to me that teaching with technology is not simply the addition of a tool to the traditional classroom work. Nor is it enough to say, we only should use a technology if it helps us achieve our traditional composition teaching goals. Because I believe that technology changes what our goals for teaching are and what those goals should be.
