Logo and identity for a local Chicago print/web/multi-media professional production club. My goal was to incorporate cues of both Chicago and a factory. The M forms the sky and uses blue from the city’s flag. The F creates the factory and gives a nod to the famous black and gray architecture that dots the city. Logo, Naming, Identity, Collateral. Frappuccino decided that they needed to update their packaging to reflect their positioning of being a premium drink of indulgence. My idea was to focus on the pure simplicity of Frappuccino, blended coffee and flavor. I achieved this through a simple, unique, and playful way by showing a heroic coffee bean covered by the flavor, which created the rich indulgence appeal they were seeking.
