28 July, 2011. I recently rediscovered historical weather data for Lexington, KY that I had. It runs from winter 1947-1948 to winter 2010-2011. In this data set the coldest minimum low for any winter has occurred twice. The first time was during the winter of 1962-1963 on January 24, 1963 and the second time was during the winter of 1993-1994 on January 19, 1994. The low both times was -20f. The warmest minimum low occured druing the winter of 1952-1953 on January 6, 1953 with a low of 14f. 12 Month Year...
