Nicklin's UK Trip 2008. Thursday, September 11, 2008. The photo above is a view down one of the old streets. Yesterday we had another trawl through. London - thought we'd go to Madam Tussaud's. But decided that the exorbitant. Price wasn't worth our level of interest. We then went to the Natural History museum which was just fantastic. The dinosaur display is superb right down to the "live" tyranosaurus. Menacing us. Must be fantastic for the L ondon. By accident, we took a video instead of a still photo.

At the end to the big aqueduct is the Trevor Marina where we anchored just upstream a bit for the night then walked back to check it out. Nicklin's UK Trip 2008. Saturday, September 20, 2008. This bit of blog will cover all of our trip around Scotland as it was difficult to get internet connections where we stayed. It is all a bit disjointed and partly made of bits cut from emails but covers most of what we did. Had a lovely interlude at the Glenfiddich distillery - George has almost been converted to the joys of Whisky - their PR was fantastic as was the product! Skye - so glad someone has some sun - t'is persisting down here in Skye!

Nicklin's UK Trip 2008. Friday, October 10, 2008. Singapore again: 8-10 Sept. On the return from London, we spent 3 days in Singapore. Our accomodation was at the same 4 star Faruma Hotel. It was a pretty flash place for us and because we stayed there before we got "upgraded" - the only difference I noticed apart from a bath/shower was we were at the 23rd floor instead of the 6th!
