Thursday, November 13, 2008. I finally got the DIY support cable to work! Yes, it's 7.20 in the morning and i stayed up till 1.30am on a work night but i just had to see if it would work. When i accessed the main unit parameters it showed bullock settings like 20% fuel at 6000 rpm and 0% on all the other A.A.V. settings! Also, all the jumper and rotary switch settings made no sense especially the bit that was for the number of cylinders in the car was set to 0! Oh well. off to work. It was like deciding ...

Ford Cortina MK3 Rebuild. Friday, October 24, 2008. For record keeping purposes, I'll just post about the wiring. It was sent on tuesday apparently and should be done in about a weeks time. Then it'll be off to the body shop (again) for some touch ups that the previous welder did not close which is how water keeps coming in. the hole in question is located on the extreme right hand corner of the firewall hidden from view by the massive fenders. How much it's gonna cost you to fabricate those?

So back to work on the putra and the cortina. the cortina.is in a sad state, the welder promised he'll finish by today but apparently has been too busy. so the car's been sitting in his compound rusting i suppose once again. really have no idea what to do with this welder. I'll be starting the New Year with a blasted cold though. I've also been thinking about making New Year resolutions. I may not be able to keep them though.
