Ubiquitous Computing Blog 2012. After a wee break to focus on our other papers that have handins this week, me and Em got back into coding today. We has small success as well as some difficulties. We attempted to set up two notifications that each push to a view. In that view, we also need to push data that determines which notification it’s coming from. This will then enable the app to change the state depending on what notification is running. We also got a the notifications pushing to another view.

Ubiquitous Computing Blog 2012. Starting / Stopping the App. We also have an issue with the start button. It works fine, but if you click it more than ones, the function runs multiple times. Ie If you click it four times, you’ll get the first notification four times. A lot of people did this as there is currently no overstate on the play button. Turns out the issue was the was with the way the example code had been set up with switch and cases that was causing the issues. I’ve now created separate function for each button and it all works fine. The only thing that needed to be in the default function is the notifications and they still are so it’s all go 🙂.
